Cabo Punta la Banda

16km/10mi south of Ensenada, near Maneadera, a road branches off to the northwest to the tip of land known as Cabo Punta la Banda (22km/14mi), where you can witness a natural spectacle frequently found on the Pacific coast, in the form of "La Bufadora" (from "bufar" = to snort). The sea water is squeezed with terrific force through a narrow opening in the rocks, and hurled upwards with a mighty roar to a height of 70ft/20m.
