Baden-Baden - Kurgarten

The Kurhaus (spa establishment) was built by Friedrich Weinbrenner in 1821-24 (cafe-restaurant, conducted tours). The main road now continues under the gardens in a tunnel. To the south of the Kurhaus are the Little Theater and the Kunsthalle. To the east, beyond the Oos, are the Haus des Kurgastes (Visitors' House) and the Kongresshaus (Congress Center).

In the Baden-Baden Kurpark is the Trinkhalle or Pump Room (frescoes illustrating Black Forest legends.)
