Bad Tölz - Marktstrasse

Bad Tölz's main street, the wide Markstrasse (pedestrian zone), runs up from the bridge over the Isar and is lined by pretty gabled houses with painted facades. Behind the Town Hall can be found the Bürgergarten, from which there is a fine view of the Alps. Nearby is the parish church (originally Late Gothic). At the top end of the street are the Puppet Theater and the Bürgerhaus (Heimatmuseum).
