Stiftskirche Description
The town of Bad Gandersheim is dominated by the 11th C. Romanesque Stiftskirche, now a Cathedral, with a richly furnished interior. Immediately east of the church are the abbey buildings (c. 1600), with a beautiful Renaissance gable and the Imperial Hall (1753). In front of it is the Roswitha Fountain (1978).
