To the south of Schloss Hellbrunn in Salzburg stretches a woodland park, and in the middle of a lake stands Schloss Anif (privately owned), built in 1838-48 by a local count in the Neo-Gothic style based on a French pattern.

The village of Anif is 4km south of Salzburg. It was home to Herbert von Karajan, who also died here.
