Mill Grove Description
John James Audubon, noted artist, author, and naturalist lived on this 175-acre estate. He was a pioneer in the study and drawing of wildlife. His first American home, maintained as a museum, and numerous hiking trails through the grounds comprise the sanctuary.

The attic of the home has been restored to a studio and taxidermy room, depicting Audubon's working quarters. Other rooms in the house are furnished in the style of the early 1800's.
