Auckland - St Stephen's Chapel

It was in this little wooden chapel near Point Resolution, built by Frederick Thatcher in 1856-7, that the constitution of the Anglican church in New Zealand was adopted. The chapel looks out on Judges Bay. The churchyard contains the graves of many townspeople and soldiers of Auckland's early days.
