There are also works by many Greek painters, including Nikólaos Gizis, Nikifóros Lystras, Andréas Kriézis, Vikéntios Lántsas and Simeon Savvídis. Visitors are likely to be particularly interested in their pictures on Greek subjects (scenes from the everyday life of the people, the ever popular theme of the Acropolis).
In the basement are a collection of graphic art and special exhibitions, as well as a cafeteria.
The new sculpture gallery is also worth a visit.
