The ATHINAIS was built in the 1920's and served many purposes over the years. The facility has recently been restored to it's former grandeur and is now an exhibition and conference complex hosting a range of business initiatives and cultural activities. The center is also home to the Pierides Museum and the Art Hall.

Pierides Museum Of Ancient Cypriot Art
Inaugurated in 2001 and located in the ATHINAIS, the Pierides Museum Of Ancient Cypriot Art is Greece's first museum with Cypriot antiquities. It explores the 9000 years of Cypriot culture. Of particular interest is the extensive collection of pottery from all periods.
