Description
The temple, 243ft/74m long by 108ft/33m wide, is approached by a causeway of dressed stone, 104ft/ 31.6m long and 26ft/8m wide, which has a rectangular projection at its lower end. From the upper end a flight of low steps leads up to a long terrace in front bf the pylon.

The Pylon, the main entrance to the temple precinct, is slightly askew to the axis of the causeway and the temple itself. It is excellently preserved, but has no relief decoration apart from two figures of deities in the doorway. Each tower has a vertical groove for a flagstaff.
