Kalabsha - Temple of Kalabsha - Inner Passage
From the court and the vestibule doors lead into th inner passage round the temple. On the outer walls of the temple are lions' heads (unfinished) as water spouts. On the rear wall is a large relief of the Emperor in the presence of the gods, with smaller reliefs below it; and opposite these, on the enclosure wall, are two representations of the god Mandulis, which were probably originally protected by a small wooden chapel. On the south side is a well preserved Nilometer.
