Asti - Baptistery of San Pietro

At the east end of the Corso Vittorio Alfieri, the principal street of Asti, are the Romanesque baptistery of San Pietro (12th century) and the former church of San Pietro in Consavia (1467), decorated with beautiful terracotta. The cloister and other parts of the church house the Archeological and Paleontological Museum. Near the Town Hall stands the Romanesque-Gothic church of Chiesa de San Secondo (13th-15th centuries) with a notable crypt (seventh century).
