The Great Lakes Marine & U S Coast Guard Memorial Museum, also known as the Ashtabula Maritime Museum is located in an old lighthouse keepers house from the late 1800s. Visitors to the museum will learn about the history of Ashtabula Harbor and Lake Erie through old photographs, paintings, models, and other maritime artifacts. The well kept grounds at the Ashtabula Maritime Museum also allow for picnics, with fine views over the Ashtabula Harbor.
