Asheville - Pack Place Education, Arts and Science Center

Pack Place Education and Arts Center in Asheville is home to the Asheville Museum of Art, the Colburn Earth Science Museum, the Diana Worth Theatre, and the Health Adventure and YMI Cultural Center. This multi-purpose building was designed to be the cultural hub of downtown Asheville and it has become just that. The man behind the idea for this project was Roger McGuire who lived in Asheville and worked to see his dream become a reality. The Place Education, Arts & Science Center opened in 1992.
