The Ashcroft Museum and Archives is open throughout the summer. It focuses on the town's history with displays on the native history of the Southern Cariboo, the early times of the town of Ashcroft, the so called "glory days" before the town suffered major damage from a fire in 1916. Also of interest are displays on the agricultural history of Hat Creek Valley, coal mining, and pioneer life.
