Window Rock Attractions
The town of Window Rock is an administrative center for the Navajo Indian Reservation. It gets its name from a huge "Rock With A Hole In It".
The Navajo Tribal Museum in Window Rock summarizes the history of the Navajo people. Arts and crafts on display include paintings, rugs and jewelry.

St. Michael's Historical Museum, two miles west of Window Rock, occupies an old mission built in 1937. Exhibits depict the lives of Indians and early settlers.

Window Rock Tribal Park sits at the foot of Window Rock, a hole in a sandstone ridge that averages 47 feet across. The park serves as the Navajo Veteran's Memorial.
