Salome Attractions
Charles Pratt and Dick Wick Hall established the town of Salome in 1904 in the McMullen Valley. Salome was the name of Mr. Pratt's wife.
The town became "Salome ~ where she danced ~ Arizona" based on a story of Salome kicking off her shoes and dancing across the hot sand that burned her feet.
