Oracle Attractions
Oracle is a small town located 30 miles north of Tucson, across the Catalina Mountains. At one time, Buffalo Bill Cody owned a mine and built a home in Oracle.
This huge glass habitat became famous when eight people lived in the structure for two years in the early 1990s, completely cut off from the outside world.
The Acadia Ranch Museum was Oracle's first post office, built more than a century ago. It is now a museum with displays of artifacts and memorabilia from Oracle's first 'pioneers'. A collection of prehistoric mastodon remains are also featured.
