Fort Apache Historic Park
Fort Apache is located in the White Mountain Apache Indian Reservation, four miles south of Whiteriver. Established in 1870, the site now covers 288 acres, with over twenty historic buildings.
Within the Fort Apache Historic Park are prehistoric ruins, prehistoric petroglyphs, the old military cemetery, the Apache Culture Center, and a recreated Apache Village.
