Dead Horse Ranch State Park
Dead Horse Ranch State Park occupies 320 acres next to Cottonwood in the Verde Valley. Visible wildlife include river otters, black hawks, bald eagles and coyotes. There are trails for hiking, biking and horse-back riding. Fishing and camping are also popular activities at Dead Horse Ranch State Park.
