Tena Valley

At the head of the Tena Valley is the town of Sallent de Gallego from which several walking paths begin. The Route of El Serrablo is a popular trail within the Tena Valley. Also of interest in the valley are the towns of Tramacastilla de Tena, Panticosa, and Biescas.

Castillo de Larrés - Larrés Drawing Museum
The Castillo de Larrés in the Tena Valley features a unique drawing museum with works by 20th C artists. The Larres Drawing Museum is one of the main stops on a tour of the valley.
Sallent del Gállego
Beyond the turning for Balneario de Panticosa C 136 follows the Gállego valley to Sallent del Gállego (alt. 1310m/4298ft), in good climbing and winter sports country. The Spanish frontier post is here.

Serrablo Route
The El Serrablo Route in the Tena Valley is a beautiful area wonderful mountain scenery and quaint towns. Several Mozarabic churches blend perfectly into this remote Aragonese valley. Some of the towns of interest in this area include Biescas, Piedrafita, Hoz de Jaca, and Tramacastilla.
