Apache Trail

Apache Junction is the beginning and ending point for the famous Apache Trail, a route through the Superstition Mountains, Tonto National Forest and High Country area that has been in use since 1922.

The scenery along the Apache Trail is outstanding. The steep, winding road leads travelers past the mountains with dense forests and deep blue lakes.
