Beaches

In the center of the town are the beaches of Anchieta, Coqueiro, Balanço and Mar Vila; to the north, in the direction of Guarapari, near the Mãe-Bá Lagoon, are the beaches (monazite sand) of Castelhanos (4km/2.5mi), Guanabara (5km/3mi), Ubu (8.5km/5.5mi) and Mãe-Bá (14km/8.7mi); and to the south are Iriri (monazite sand) and the Praia dos Namorados ("Lovers' Beach").
