Description
The building at number 672 which today holds the Van Loon Museum is particularly worth seeing. It was built for a Flemish merchant in 1672 and became the property of the Van Loons in 1884. The interior is furnished in typical mid- 18th century style and besides various art objects includes a gallery of over 50 family portraits from the 17th and 18th C. The Museum also has a lovely formal Roccoco garden.
