Alpilles - La Caume

The highest point of the Alpilles is the Caume (387m/1,270ft). The summit, from which there are excellent views, can be reached on a road - sometimes closed - which branches off to the east on road D5 between St-Rémy and Les Baux. The panorama extends as far as the mouth of the Rhône and the Camargue in the west and to Mont Ventoux and the Valley of the Durance in the east.
