Alexandria - Runestone Museum
Many of the exhibits at the Runestone Museum in Alexandria highlight early pioneer life of the 1870's, Viking implements, Minnesota wildlife and birds and an American Indian exhibit. The Kensington Runestone was found in 1898 on a local farm and tells the story of a band of Vikings in 1362.
