Albuquerque - Old Town

The Old Town of Albuquerque is the picturesque core of the old Spanish colonial settlement. Dominating the Spanish-style Plaza is the church of San Felipe de Neri, built in 1706. Old Town follows the traditional Spanish pattern of a central plaza and church surrounded by homes and businesses. Many of the historic homes are still standing and some have been renovated into today's shops, galleries and restaurants.

Must-see attractions nearby:

The Old Town is bounded by Rio Grande Boulevard, Central Avenue and Mountain Road. Quiet hidden patios, winding brick paths, gardens and balconies are waiting to be discovered. Wrought iron and adobe benches beckon you to rest in the shade and watch people stroll by. Visit historic San Felipe de Neri Church and relax in the Rose Garden.
Tips
In general, most stores in Old Town are open between 10 am to 6 pm with some open until 8 pm.
