West Cape Howe National Park takes in the coastal area round West Cape Howe between Forsyth Bluff, in Torbay, and Lowlands Beach. Inland from the impressive coastal scenery are areas of heath and marshland with many species of plants and birds. At the main entrance to the park, on Torbay Hill, are patches of karri forest.
The granite and limestone cliffs at Shelley Beach attract many rock-climbing and hang-gliding enthusiasts. There is good fishing off Torbay Head, West Cape Howe and Bornholm Salmon Holes.
An easily negotiable unsurfaced road leads from the main entrance at Torbay Hill to Shelley Beach. The other tracks in the park are suitable only for all-terrain vehicles.
