Description
The Thronateeska Heritage Museum in Albany was established in 1974 and features displays on the cultural history of the area. A scale model train display inside of a restored turn of the century passenger car, as well as, a 1911 steam locomotive and caboose.

Also on site is a hands-on science discovery center, and planetarium. The planetarium is a 20 foot dome theater with seating for approximately 50 people, although a new and larger planetarium and hands- on discovery center is in the works.
