National Solar Observatory / Sacramento Peak Description
The National Solar Observatory / Sacramento Peak is located in the Sacramento Mountains south of Cloudcroft on Highway 6563, is used by scientists to study the sun. The facility has one of the world's largest solar telescopes, and is open for self-guided tours from dawn to dusk.
