Akureyri - David's House

(Local Name: Davíðshús) The home of one of Iceland's best-loved poets, David Stefansson (1895-1964). Built in 1944, it contains the poet's original furnishings, personal effects and his library, which is one of the largest and most valuable private book collections in Iceland.
