Chakalal Lagoon Description
Approximately 12km/7.5mi to the north of Yal-ku lagoon, a track on the right leads off the MEX 307 to the attractively situated Chakalal lagoon and to an interesting Mayan temple. About 5km/3mi further on along MEX 307 there is a second turn off, leading to the beach and the Mayan ruins of Pamuul (as yet largely undisturbed).
