Neermahal
Neermahal is a water palace that was built by Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya in 1930. Built as a summer resort, Neermahal is a combination of Hindu and Muslim architecture, located in the center of a lake.
The gardens are well kept and floodlights in the evening add color to the exterior of Neermahal. Rudrasagar Lake is visited by a large number of migratory birds in the winter season. The garden also has an open stage that was used for dramatic performances.
Boats can be taken across to the palace for visitors to wander through the grounds.
