Abbadia San Salvatore - Old Town

The center of Abbadia San Salvatore has preserved its medieval character. A notable feature is the borgo (walled village), originally held by the Counts of Santa Fiora, which passed into the hands of Siena in 1347 and later into the possession of the Médici family.
