Abaco National Park Description
Created in 1994, this park covers 20,500ac/8,300ha of pine forest/coppice located on the southern tip of Great Abaco Island. The park covers a large water table in Abaco, and at least 5,000ac/2,024.3ha of the park is a habitat for the endangered Bahamian parrot. Many other species of wildlife are found in the park as well.
