Oud-Hospitaal Description
In 1224 Joanna of Constantinople, Countess of Flanders, made a gift to the town of a site for a hospital. The present building, situated on the Vismarkt behind Sint-Martinuskerk, dates from the 14th and 16th centuries. Having been restored between 1959 and 1965 it now houses the Academie voor Schone Kunsten (Academy of Fine Art).
